Rewire Old Patterns and Build Stronger Connections

If you’ve ever wondered why you react the way you do—why certain situations trigger anxiety, overwhelm, or frustration—interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB) offers powerful answers. IPNB helps us understand how the brain and nervous system develop through relationships and how healing happens through connection, compassion, and felt safety. One of the most fascinating findings in IPNB is that the brain remains changeable throughout our entire lives—meaning that supportive, attuned relationships can literally reshape neural pathways, even decades after difficult early experiences. This gives us enormous hope: change is always possible.

As a therapist and parent coach, I support caregivers and other adults who want to break old cycles, build emotional regulation skills, and create healthier, more connected relationships. My work integrates relational neuroscience, experiential therapy, and approaches like filial therapy, SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for anxiety and OCD-related concerns.

Individual Adult Therapy: Understand Your Patterns and Create Lasting Change

So many adults carry stress responses rooted in childhood—perfectionism, people-pleasing, shutdown, anger, or fear of conflict. In my work with adult clients, I use a brain-based, trauma-aware approach to explore where these patterns came from and how to gently shift them. Therapy becomes a space to feel seen, safe, and understood—conditions the brain needs for growth.

Parent Coaching: Support Through Connection, Not Control

For those of us who are parents, our children often become powerful mirrors. Their big feelings, needs, and behaviors can activate our own early experiences—sometimes the parts we thought we’d outgrown. Parenting can be both a challenge and an opportunity to recognize and update old patterns, creating a more grounded and connected family experience.

For this reason, I am passionate about my work as a parent coach, which can help caregivers:

  • Navigate big emotions with more confidence

  • Understand their child’s nervous system

  • Build connection-based parenting strategies

  • Reduce family stress and increase cooperation

  • Support anxiety and OCD using developmentally appropriate ERP

  • Shift out of anxiety-accommodation patterns using SPACE, a research-backed approach that empowers parents to support anxious children not by pushing them, but by compassionately changing their own behaviors

Small shifts in your own regulation can create meaningful changes at home.

I chose this field because I’ve seen firsthand how people thrive when they feel truly seen and supported. Interpersonal neurobiology reinforces a simple truth: relationships shape the brain, and compassionate connection can reshape it.
