I chose this work because I’ve seen how powerful it can be when people feel truly seen, safe, and connected. By supporting children, parents, and adults in deepening those connections, I hope to nurture resilience and well-being that extends into families and communities.

Over the years, I’ve supported kids and parents in many different roles—working as a nanny, in educational publishing, leading parenting workshops, serving as president of a Moms’ Club, substitute teaching, and more. Each of these experiences deepened my understanding of how people grow, adapt, and heal in the context of their relationships.

In my practice, I provide therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as parent coaching. I focus on helping clients and parents build emotional regulation skills, deepen self-understanding, and create a foundation of felt safety and connection at home and within themselves. My approach integrates relational and experiential work, including filial therapy to strengthen parent-child relationships and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for anxiety and OCD-related concerns. I draw inspiration from Dr. Dan Siegel’s interpersonal neurobiology and Robyn Gobbel’s relational neuroscience framework. These approaches guide my belief that healing and growth happen through curiosity, compassion, and connection.

I especially enjoy working with adults who want to better understand how their own childhood experiences shape their current patterns, relationships, and sense of self. Together, we explore how early attachment, family dynamics, and past experiences influence the way they relate to themselves and others today—creating space for healing, self-compassion, and new ways of connecting.

I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University New England and a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My background in literature shapes how I think about the stories we tell ourselves—how they can both limit and liberate us as we grow.

On a personal note, I’m the parent of two elementary-aged children who continually teach me about flexibility, patience, and humor. I enjoy reading and audiobooks, hiking, and connecting with friends over thoughtful conversations about relationships, books, TV, and movies.
