We are proud to collaborate with The Powerful Project, a nonprofit dedicated to making mental health services affordable for all. Through this partnership, we provide discounted counseling services to their clients, helping to expand access to compassionate mental health care. Together, we are committed to fostering healing and resilience within our community.
Join the maternal health movement in Georgia
If you’re looking for an easy way to improve maternal health outcomes and fight for healthcare justice in our state, please consider a donation to the Georgia Fund.
Since its inception, the Georgia Fund has provided over 1,500 fully funded therapy sessions to mothers and birthing people across the state. Their mission is so simple: provide fully funded therapy with experts to the perinatal mothers in Georgia who need it most.
No amount is too small. Every donation brings them closer to ensuring that skilled perinatal mental health care is available to everyone who needs it.
We are excited to share an opportunity to partner with Gaia to bring mental health services to disadvantaged youth in our community, through our collaboration with local non-profit O.N.F.I.Y.A.’s S.T.A.M.P Mentor Program.
O.N.F.I.Y.A. was created in direct response to the growing number of youth and young adults between the ages of 13 and 25 that are either falling through the cracks at school, already in the judicial system, or succumbing to negative influences within their communities. Their S.T.A.M.P. Program is a six-month mentorship program which empowers participants with important life skills. Gaia will be offering psychoeducational workshops to mentees, designed to help them learn how to thrive as they enter into adulthood.
Here are some sample workshop topics:
Vision: Crafting a future to build towards by creating a vision board.
Self-Confidence: Learning how to boldly make decisions and problem solve.
Trust: Enhancing communication and life skills.
Respect: Nurturing positive body image, self-respect and conflict resolution.
Integrity: Asserting needs and understanding abuse cycles.
Relationships: Supporting social skills and teaching tools for increasing connection.
Thank you for considering making a donation, which would help us bring this valuable offering to young people who could use our support. Contributions made directly to O.N.F.I.Y.A. through the link below are tax-deductible, and you will receive a receipt upon donation. If you would like to contribute by adding $5 or $10 to your regular session fee, please e-mail us at info@gaiacounseling.com to arrange.
