The Get In Touch form

When you fill out the form on our Get In Touch page, it sends us your first and last name, email address and phone number, the service you are interested in, how you found us, and the date of birth of the person who would be coming to therapy (often a parent fills this out for a child). We use it only to reply to you and to help match you with a therapist on our team.

Please leave out anything you would not want in an email. A first message does not need any details about your or your child's health or history; those can wait until we talk.

News and updates

If you sign up for news and updates (in the footer, or by ticking the box on the form), we keep your email address to send you news from the practice. To be taken off the list at any time, email info@gaiacounseling.com.

Where your information goes

This website is built and hosted for us by WebsiteTherapy, which receives the form and the signup on our behalf, stores them, and sends them on to our team. They are not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything else.

This website is not a secure channel for health information

Please do not use the form, the signup, the chat or email to send private health information. If you would like to talk about what is going on, call us at 404-783-2079 and we will take it from there.

The chat assistant

The chat assistant on this site answers questions about the practice. It is not a therapist and it is not for emergencies, so please do not share health details in it. If you are in crisis, use the crisis numbers at the bottom of every page.

Maps, videos and links

Our Location page shows a Google map, and some pages show YouTube videos. Those services may collect information about you under their own privacy policies when the map or a video loads or plays. Links to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and our client portal take you to sites with their own policies.

Visits and analytics

This website does not run advertising trackers and does not sell information about visitors.

Therapy records

Anything shared once therapy begins is part of your clinical record and is not handled through this website. Ask us if you have questions about how your records are kept.
